Featherstone High School'Thank you so much for coming in and your kind words. I actually taught a Year 11 class right after and some of them said to me how interesting and inspiring your talk was, and they felt it was "really important" because they had not considered things like red flags before. This was echoed by the Head Of Year who said your assembly was "Excellent".'

Arts and Media School IslingtonThank you for delivering such a successful trial week of assemblies to our students. The information you shared was powerful and well pitched for each year group and I am sure was a valuable adjunct to our PSHE curriculum and more specifically the RSE component of it. A number of staff have mentioned that the assemblies were excellent......As part of our parent/carer body, your work in our community has been an excellent example of how we can work collaboratively for the benefit of our young people to address personal development issues that are so important.

Gavin Austin Head of Year 8: Myself and Year 8 loved the assembly. It was very interactive and engaging. This assembly allowed the students to understand the meaning of healthy relationships and got them to ask very important questions. They took all the cards she gave out too! Would love to have her come in again! Many thanks! Thomas |
Pinner High School“Just as you are supported in our delivery of Sex and Relationships Education to our Year 9 cohort. Their session covered key aspects of consent. Linda, our facilitator, effortlessly put our pupils at ease and created an environment where it was safe to ask questions and explore a sensitive topic with confidence. Our pupils thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and consistently rated it one of the most useful parts of the day. Would highly recommend to other schools and colleges - thank you!”

Haverstock Secondary School"Fantastic facilitators, know who their audience and delivered session accordingly. Students responded well and were engaged throughout, the facilitators know how to interact and get the young people involved and single sex grouping allowed opportunities for young people to share thoughts/opinions on the matter without any disruption.
The written activity can be improved, students didn’t seem bothered to write so do any written work, perhaps next time this can be structured better and questions/scenarios can be used to get students engaged in the activity" Farhana |
Lilian Baylis Technology School“Just As You Are was used at LBTS to deliver content related to the PSHE programme. I found the members of the team to be very effective in delivering sensitive content to students from Year 7 - 10. The team was very organised and able to tailor a programme for our school.
The content of the sessions were and are paramount to the education of young people. The only criticism I would give is that the activities were more interactive, as oppose to just presenting to students. Finances permitted I would recommend the Just As You Are organisation to other schools. Regards, Jordan Crawford” |
